Protocol Education work with 3 large Secondary schools in the North Leeds area, specifically in LS16 and LS17 and are looking to build a local pool of ‘Cover Supervisors’ to work on a day to day adhoc basis as well as longer term for block bookings. 

The key responsibilities & sought-after qualities of a cover supervisor would be;

  • Cover the absence of the class teacher in various subject lessons where there is already pre-planned work set
  • Safeguarding and managing the behaviour of the students.
  • Using initiative and being proactive
  • Desire to go above and beyond and determination to succeed

Ideally, the suitable candidate will hold an undergraduate degree or have relevant experience working with young people (not necessarily within an education setting), if you have both this will be particularly advantageous.

Pay rate is dependent on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
