Job Description: We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team and work in schools across Norfolk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of regular teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain on task.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Provide support to students in their learning, as directed by the teacher.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and report any issues to school staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is desirable.
- Previous experience working with children or young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and manage a classroom effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
