Cover Supervisor - DRIVERS ONLY

Job Duties:

• Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to pupils
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials
• Keeping accurate records of student attendance and progress

Required Qualifications:

• Valid UK driving licence
• Clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

Experience:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
• Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role may involve standing for extended periods, interacting with students, and working in a classroom environment. Flexibility in working hours may be required to cover staff absences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
