Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £11.80 - £14.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a safe learning environment
- Manage student behaviour and maintain discipline
- Provide support to students in their learning and development
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Education:
A relevant educational background or teaching assistant qualification would be advantageous
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of basic educational principles
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional relevant training or qualifications in education
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a school environment, following a set schedule, and collaborating with teaching staff and students on a daily basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
