Cover Supervisor

Job Duties:
- Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Ensure all work set by the teacher is completed
- Assist with any queries or issues students may have
- Report back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Good organisational skills
- Basic understanding of educational practises
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar. The Cover Supervisor may need to deal with challenging behaviour from students but will receive support from teaching staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
