Protocol Education are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor within a Secondary School in Shrewsbury.

Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: Monday 6th January 2025
Qualifications: Relevant experience in education or related fields is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure students are engaged in pre-set learning activities and support their understanding to achieve the learning objectives.
- Maintain good behaviour and promote an atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Act as a positive role model, setting high expectations for conduct and behaviour.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Able to support and guide students through their learning activities, ensuring they stay on task.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to maintaining a positive and respectful environment.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
