About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining learning continuity in the classroom. This is an ideal position for those with proven cover supervisor experience who excel in creating structured and engaging environments for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the classroom during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set lesson plans.
- Support students with their learning, addressing questions and providing guidance.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders for smooth handovers.
- Adapt to various subjects and age groups as required by the school.

- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role in a secondary school setting.
- Confidence in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a productive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
