We are seeking Cover Supervisors to join our team and support local schools in the Shrewsbury area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining classroom discipline in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained for all students.
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
  • Supporting students with their learning and offering guidance where needed.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and reporting on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
  • Experience working with young people in any capacity is beneficial but not essential.
  • A desire to make a positive impact on students’ education.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent (degree level preferred but not essential).
