Protocol Education are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work within our Secondary Schools within the Central Leeds area. We are able to offer Full time or Part time work with a minimum availability of 2 days per week, on a daily/adhoc basis or longer term.

What is the role?

It is the job of Cover Supervisor to step up when a teacher is absent. You will lead and guide the students through the work provided and assist in understanding the topic. This ensures that the students are up to speed ready for their next lesson. Your key role as a cover supervisor will also be to ensure you manage the classroom behaviour whilst safeguarding the students accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to engage students, keeping them on task, and to manage a classroom
  • Easily adaptable to different subjects and ages of students
  • Hold or be prepared to apply for an enhanced DBS

 

Pay rate is between £85 and £100 per day. Pay rate is dependent on experience and qualifications.
