Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure student engagement
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage student behaviour
- Provide support to students with their learning and assist with any queries
- Report back on student progress and any issues to the teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
- Educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent
- Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and behaviour effectively
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within education is advantageous
- Knowledge of the UK education system and curriculum
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant certification
- First Aid training certification
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
