Cover Supervisor role:

  • Presenting cover lessons to classrooms.
  • Supervising and supporting pupils while they attempt tasks.
  • Aiding students in accessing and understanding the curriculum.
  • Monitoring behaviour and welfare of pupils.
  • Helping to ensure all students have access to equal opportunities.
  • To be vigilant in safeguarding.

The ideal candidate for the role of cover supervisor will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, including speaking and listening in a group environment. You will have the passion and the drive to create a fun atmosphere for the class and push a positive ‘want to learn’ attitude. You will have the opportunity to work in schools across Sunderland.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
