Job Overview:
As a cover supervisor, your responsibility is to maintain continuity in the classroom by overseeing students' learning in the absence of their regular teacher. This entails implementing pre-prepared lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment. Flexibility is key as you may cover a variety of subjects and grade levels, requiring adaptability and quick thinking. Ultimately, your role is integral in supporting the educational goals of the school by providing stability and support during teacher absences. This role will require commuting to various schools in the local area as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour and address any challenges that may arise.
Complete administrative tasks related to cover supervision responsibilities.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum degree educated. A degree in Education or related field is advantageous.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and manage various classroom environments.
Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
The right to work in the UK
Adapts well to new environments.
Is confident maintaining a positive work environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
