Cover Supervisor – Flexible Hours

Location:  Greater London

Job Type: Part-Time, Flexible Shifts (Up to 5 days a week)

As a Supply Teacher, you will be tasked with delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, ensuring that students continue their education in the absence of their regular teacher. At Protocol Education, we have a variety of exciting opportunities in East London for passionate and flexible Supply Teachers to join well-supported, collaborative, and high-performing secondary schools. We are specifically seeking teachers available for daily supply cover in the mornings, particularly when schools need someone to step in due to teacher sickness or absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in schools graded "Good" and "Outstanding" by Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects
  • Provide a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive learning atmosphere
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students in the absence of their regular teacher
  • Contribute to the school community and participate in extracurricular activities if required

Requirements:

  • Experience of teaching in a secondary school.
  • Passionate about teaching and supporting student success
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous teaching experience is desirable, but not essential
  • The ability to manage your own diary.
