Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons to students
  • Develop and implement appropriate curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Provide feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience teaching computer science at secondary school level

Education:

Degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching computer science at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of computer science curriculum
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, or C++

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
