Secondary Teacher - Computer Science

Location: Stickney, Lincolnshire 

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher specializing in Computer Science to join a dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive computer science lessons in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to excel.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology tools to enhance student learning and understanding.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support student growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate computer science with other subjects.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, developments, and best practices in computer science education through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or licensure in Computer Science or Secondary Education (if applicable).
  • Previous experience teaching computer science at the secondary level is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
