SEND Learning Support Assistant 

The School

I am working with a SEN School and looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant that is highly motivated and passionate to work within a small class of children with complex special education needs. As a Learning Support Assistant you will have a patient and caring manner. The school is highly welcoming and offers all staff support and additional training where required. They have excellent facilicities in order to support the children and their needs.

Requirements

  • You will need to be resilient and able to hit the ground running
  • Be reliable - Attendance and time keeping is a high priority as the children need consistency
  • Experience of working with children or young adults with special needs
  • Able to work with multiple children with special needs as this is not always a 1:1 role
  • Experience of working with complex needs is a MUST
  • Child DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Be able to work full time 5 days a week 8.30 till 16.00 Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
