Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of the Chemistry curriculum

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in teaching A-Level Chemistry
  • Experience in using innovative teaching methods

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a school setting in Cambridge, East of England. The teacher will be required to plan, deliver, and assess Chemistry lessons, participate in meetings and professional development activities, and maintain a positive learning environment for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
