Job Duties:
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour in the classroom
- Assisting the lead teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies
- Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of students
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with challenging behaviour
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of special educational needs practises
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher-level teaching assistant qualification
- Additional training in behaviour management
Working Conditions:
This role will involve working in a classroom setting with students who have challenging behaviour. The work may be demanding at times, requiring patience and resilience. The candidate must be prepared to work full-time hours on a temporary basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
