Role Overview:
The Care Support Worker will assist in the provision of care and support for students with diverse needs at a Special Needs School. Working closely with the school's dedicated teachers and staff, the Care Support Worker will provide individualised care in accordance with care plans, while also supporting the students' social and cognitive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing Sensory Awareness and Refining Motor Skills: The Care Support Worker will play a vital role in enhancing students' sensory awareness and refining their motor skills through various activities and exercises.
- Providing Individualised Care: Working in accordance with care plans, the Care Support Worker will provide personalised support for students with diverse needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Teaching Vocabulary and Fostering Speech and Language Development: The Care Support Worker will assist in teaching vocabulary and fostering speech and language development, helping students communicate more effectively.
- Facilitating Creative and Engaging Lessons: The role of the Care Support Worker also includes facilitating creative and engaging lessons, such as art, cooking, music, and dance, to promote students' overall development.
- Supporting Social and Cognitive Growth: Through one-to-one support and group activities, the Care Support Worker will support students' social and cognitive growth, promoting their independence and confidence.
Key Details:
- Full-Time Position: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Contract: Secure a year-long contract with potential for extension
- One-to-One Support: Provide personalised support for students with diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
