Job Duties:

Encourage pupils to interact with the class and engage in activities. Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's achievement, progress and any problems that arise. Create and maintain an orderly and supportive environment, undertaking administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Health and Safety, Safeguarding

Education:

Relevant teaching assistant qualifications

Experience:

Prior experience working as a teaching assistant

Knowledge and Skills:

Good understanding of classroom dynamics, ability to provide support to pupils and teachers, strong communication skills, ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in education or child development

Working Conditions:

Working in a school setting, interacting with students and teachers, following school policies and procedures, full-time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
