Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Supervising students during lessons and breaks
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for helping students achieve their full potential

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

Experience:

Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of educational best practises
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school term calendar. The position may require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
