Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting with classroom management
  • Working with individual students or small groups on specific tasks
  • Helping to create educational resources
  • Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Basic IT skills
  • Organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with special educational needs students

Working Conditions:

Work in a school environment, following school hours and term dates. May require occasional additional hours for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
