Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Orpington, Greater London. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to teachers in the classroom, helping to create a positive learning environment for students.
Job Duties:
- Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans
- Support individual students with their learning needs
- Help to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
Required Qualifications:
- Enhanced DBS on Update Service
- Previous experience working in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Additional qualifications in education or childcare are desirable
Experience:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience in supporting learning activities
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of educational principles and practises
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
- Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Contract position with Full-Time hours
- Salary of £85 - £100 Per day
