Job Duties:

  • Encourage pupils to interact with the class and engage in activities
  • Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's achievement, progress and any problems that arise
  • Create and maintain an orderly and supportive environment, undertaking administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, along with certifications in Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Mental Health.

Education:

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role within the education sector is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Punctual and resilient
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Approachable and able to communicate effectively with both pupils and teachers

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school environment in Bromley, Greater London. The candidate will be expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis, with PAYE benefits included.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
