Job Duties:

Encourage pupils to interact with the class and engage in activities. Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's achievement, progress, and any problems that arise. Create and maintain an orderly and supportive environment, undertaking administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Health and Safety, Mental Health

Education:

Relevant teaching assistant qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team, knowledge of health and safety protocols, understanding of mental health issues in children

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) support

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced classroom environment, interaction with pupils and teachers, potential for administrative duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
