Position Overview:
The Business & Economics Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and economics concepts and be able to engage and manage students effectively to ensure a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the lesson.
  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared Business and Economics lessons in a clear and effective manner.
  • Student Support: Provide support and guidance to students during lessons, helping them understand the material and complete their work.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement the school's behaviour policies, managing any classroom  disruptions in a calm and professional manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of learning for students.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly in a supervisory or teaching role, is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Business and Economics subjects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal: Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and teachers.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
