Protocol Education is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Business & Economics Subject Leader at a prestigious private boys' school in Gosforth, NE3 1NN. This is a full-time role, starting in the Summer Term 2025, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics, including A-level Economics, Applied Business Level 3 Extended Certificate, and GCSE Business.
  • Design and implement engaging and challenging curriculum content to foster academic excellence and a passion for the subjects.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of colleagues, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
  • Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
  • Support and mentor students in their academic and personal development, both inside and outside the classroom.

About You:

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Business and Economics.
  • Proven experience in teaching Business and Economics at A-level, Level 3 Applied Business, and GCSE.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.
  • Passionate about education and committed to delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to curriculum development and innovation.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (08:15 – 16:00)
  • Competitive salary based on experience
