Protocol Education are working with various schools within Hertfordshire who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for September.

This role would either be supporting the Teacher to keep the class focused an engaged on their learning or you may be appointed as a 1:1 support for a child with special needs. Either way you would be tasked with support the children to engage in their education and classroom activites to acheive their full potential.

Our partnered schools offer hands-on training and continuous support from experienced staff once you join their community. In this role, you will aid students aged 4-11 in their social, emotional, and academic development. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and learning activities
  • Build positive relationships with staff, learners, and families
  • Work harmoniously with other team members
  • Approach each day with enthusiasm and dedication

Requirements:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and fostering a love for learning
  • Desirable but not esstential: Experience in working with children or in a childcare setting
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Confidence and motivation to guide individuals/small groups in their learning
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
