Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emotional and Behavioral Mentor for a full-time position at an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Doncaster.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students with emotional and behavioral difficulties to manage their behavior and emotions effectively
- Providing one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions to help students develop social and emotional skills
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create individualized plans for students
- Monitoring and tracking student progress and communicating with parents and caregivers
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications or experience in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
- Knowledge of SEMH and strategies for managing challenging behavior
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
