Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide support and guidance to students exhibiting challenging behaviour
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning environments
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualised behaviour support plans
  • Monitor and record student behaviour, progress, and interventions
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student behaviour

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with behavioural challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations

Education:

  • Ideally Level 3 qualification in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of behaviour management techniques
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in behaviour support or related field
  • Experience working in a school setting

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a school setting
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Possibility of dealing with challenging behaviour and situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
