Behaviour & Inclusion Support - Immediate starts - Full Time

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Child support staff to join our team at a specialist setting in Bradford. This school provides an exceptional education for students who are unable to attend mainstream schools, whether due to exclusion, illness, or other reasons. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing these students with a suitable education, enabling them to thrive in their academic and personal development.

The Role

As a Child Support Staff, you will be working with KS3 and KS4 children who are transitioning to our school. This will involve providing one-on-one support, as well as working with small groups, to ensure each student receives the attention and care they need to succeed. You will need to have a strong understanding of the challenges these students may face, including complex communication needs, learning difficulties, and autistic traits. The work can be both challenging and rewarding, so we are looking for individuals who are resilient, calm, and composed, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour in a school setting.
