Autism Support Worker
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Autism Support Worker to join our esteemed school in Sunderland. This full-time role is available throughout the academic year, providing stability for students with complex needs on the Autistic spectrum.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to students with autism in both group and one-on-one settings
- Assisting with classwork as needed
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
- Assisting students with their daily routines
- Collaborating with the team to develop Education Healthcare Plans (ECHP)

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Autism Teaching Assistant or Support Worker (preferred but not required)
- A positive and encouraging attitude
- Experience in behaviour management
