We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Workers to join our team and be part of a rewarding mission to support those in need.
Responsibilities: As an Autism Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Personalized Care: Providing one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with autism in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Building Relationships: Developing meaningful and trusting relationships with clients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Communication: Assisting individuals with autism in improving their communication skills, including speech and non-verbal communication methods.

Behavioral Support: Implementing behavioral strategies and techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.

Life Skills: Supporting individuals in developing essential life skills, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and self-care.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and progress, as well as reporting any concerns or observations to the supervisory team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disorders is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
