We are a dynamic and growing institution dedicated to excellence in education. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Business Manager to support the efficient operation of our business and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:

    • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  2. Procurement and Contracts:

    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms.
    • Assist in the procurement process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

    • Process invoices, verify expenses, and manage accounts payable.
    • Assist in the management of accounts receivable and support timely collection efforts.
  4. Payroll Support:

    • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
    • Address payroll-related inquiries and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
  5. Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the Business Manager in day-to-day operations.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to financial transactions.
  6. Policy Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
    • Keep abreast of changes in financial legislation and communicate updates to the team.
  7. Audit Preparation:

    • Support the preparation for internal and external audits.
    • Assist in implementing audit recommendations and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in financial management, business administration, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
