Protocol Education is currently looking for an experienced SEN TA to work with a child with Autism at a mainstream Primary School in Tower Hamlets.
The child you are working with is in the mainstream class but needs 1-1 support to keep them focused and to help break down any work they may struggle to understand.
Your main focus will be working with this child however they are capable of independent work so you will also help the class more generally on occassion.
You will be joining a school with a real sense of community.
This role is full-time from 8:30-3:30, term time only.
Requirements:
- Sound understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
