Secondary School Art Teacher

Contract Type: Full time until end of school year.

Protocol Education are working alongisde a Wiltshire based Secondary school and we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join their creative team until the end of the school year. There is good potential for this role to continue and school are actively looking to take the right educator on a permanent contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher or subject specialist to make a meaningful impact on our students’ artistic and design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Art (with some Photography and DT lessons) to students at Key Stage 3
- Inspire and support students in their creative development, encouraging them to explore different artistic and design techniques
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and learning
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Art and DT department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong subject knowledge and experience in Art and Design Technology
- Experience in teaching or working with secondary school students
- Passion for Art and Design, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' personal and academic growth
