Location: Newcastle
Salary: £28,000 - £43,685 per annum (in line with MPS/UPS)
⏰ Start Date: ASAP or January 2024
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Your Role as an Art Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching opportunities may also be available).
- Encourage students to explore their artistic potential, experiment with different mediums, and express themselves.
- Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support all learners, promoting progress and a passion for the arts.
- Take an active role in school-wide art projects, exhibitions, and extra-curricular activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification.
- Subject Expertise: A strong background in Art and Design with excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
- Experience: A proven ability to inspire students or a strong ambition to develop in this area.
- Skills: Creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to bringing out the best in every student.
