Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art and a commitment to inspiring young minds. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging art lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular art activities, including exhibitions and workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the art curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, promoting positive behavior and respect for materials and resources.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching art at the secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for art and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject in students.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
