Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join our team in Cambridge, East of England. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education to students, fostering their creativity and artistic skills.
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons to students of varying skill levels
- Develop and implement art curriculum that meets educational standards
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' artwork
- Organise and supervise art projects and exhibitions
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall art education programme
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Art, Fine Arts, or related field
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Art, Fine Arts, or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching art preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong creative and artistic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Knowledge of art history and various art techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Art Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. The Art Teacher may also participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
