1:1 Teaching Assistant | KS1
Location: Harlow
Pay: £84 - £94 per day, paid weekly every Friday
Are you ready to make a real difference in a child's life? We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful Year 1 child with additional needs in a vibrant primary school in Harlow. This is an exciting opportunity to start ASAP and continue through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract at the end!
What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with a child in Year 1, offering tailored support throughout the school day
- Helping them with classwork, from reading and writing to hands-on activities
- Supporting their emotional and social development, helping them feel confident and included
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to follow learning plans designed just for them
- Encouraging independence, creativity, and a love for learning! ✨
Who we're looking for:
- Someone with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping children grow
- Experience with children or SEND within the last 3 years
- A caring, patient, and fun person who can engage and motivate the child
- A team player who works well with teachers, parents, and the whole school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
