Job Duties:

- Monitor and adjust strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - Adapt learning materials to meet the individual needs of students - Foster peer relationships and encourage social interaction among students - Use visual supports to aid learning and communication

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant experience in working with individuals with SEND - Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support them - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

- Minimum of a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

- Proven experience working with students with SEND in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of SEND regulations and best practises - Ability to implement individual education plans (IEPs) - Proficiency in using visual aids and assistive technologies - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional training in specific areas of SEND support - First aid certification

Working Conditions:

- Work within a school setting - Collaborate with teachers and other support staff - Follow school policies and procedures - Support students both in and out of the classroom - Attend training and CPD sessions as required
