We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated 1:1 SEND Support professional to join our team at a Sheffield school specializing in ASC and communication needs. The successful candidate will work closely with individual students to provide tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to students with SEND, including ASC, communication needs, and other learning difficulties
- Work closely with teachers and other members of the school staff to develop and implement tailored support plans for individual students
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Help students develop social and communication skills, as well as academic skills
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant qualifications and experience in working with students with SEND, including ASC and communication needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- A commitment to equal opportunities and inclusion in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
