Your Role in Action:
Provide one-on-one support to SEN students, helping them thrive in a classroom setting.
Assist in implementing tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Support students in their learning journey and personal growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure SEN students’ needs are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is desirable.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience supporting SEN students is a must.
Knowledge & Skills:
- A strong understanding of SEN needs and strategies.
- Adaptable teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic IT proficiency and strong organisational abilities.
