1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to SEN students in a classroom setting
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans
- Support students with their learning and personal development
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the needs of SEN students
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with SEN students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable)
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN needs and strategies to support them
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Good organisational skills
- Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Additional training in working with SEN students
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension
- Work in a classroom setting with SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
