Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with a prosthetic limb in an educational setting
- Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
- Support the child with personal care needs, if required
- Implement strategies to promote the child's independence and inclusion
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Knowledge of supporting children with physical disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Understanding of the SEN Code of Practise
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of the child
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in supporting children with physical disabilities
- First Aid certification
- Experience with assistive technology
Working Conditions:
- Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Work environment: Educational setting, including classrooms and outdoor areas
- Potential for personal care assistance, as needed
- Collaborative work with teachers, therapists, and other professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
