Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a full time 1:1 Support Assistant to work in one of our over subscribed Secondary schools.
The school is part of a large established trust who work together with all of their schools to support a transparent vision of ambition & empowerment for all pupils to fulfill in life long learning.
Set in the South part of Bristol, the school is easily accessible on public transport as well as by car with on street parking.
The school are looking for a experienced support assistant to work 1:1 with a student with physical needs as well as supporting academically.
You will work closely with the school's SENCO and SEND team to support the student with their individual plan for learning and development and offer an engaging and supportive environment that enables the student to make progress and access their learning with the right support.
Role: 1:1 Support Assistant
Hours: Monday - Friday 830am - 330pm, term time only
Start date: Monday 6th January
Location: South Bristol
Skill set: Ideal for anyone with a care background or experience in supporting children or adults with physical needs/Manual Handling Training is desirable, however not essential as this can be provided.
