Job Title: 1:1 SEN Support

Job Description:
Job Duties:
1. Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
3. Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting learning materials as needed.
4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best support for students.
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and report back to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
1. Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN.
2. Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Education:
A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role supporting individuals with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises.
2. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
3. Proficient in using assistive technology to support learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Additional training in behaviour management or speech and language therapy.
2. Experience working with children or young adults with complex needs.
Working Conditions:
1. Working hours may vary depending on student needs.
2. May require occasional travel to attend meetings or training sessions.
3. The role may involve some physical activity when supporting students with mobility needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
