Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a full time 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to work in one of our over subscribed Secondary schools.
The school is part of a large established trust who work together with all of their schools to support a transparent vision of ambition & empowerment for all pupils to fulfill in life long learning.
Set in the South Gloucestershire part of Bristol, the school is easily accessible on public transport as well as by car with on site parking.
The school are looking for a experienced support assistant to work 1:1 with a student with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs as well as supporting academically.
You will work closely with the school's SENCO and SEND team to support the student with their individual plan for learning and development and offer an engaging and supportive environment that enables the student to make progress and access their learning with the right support.
Role: 1:1 SEN Support Assistant
Hours: Monday - Friday 830am - 330pm, term time only
Start date: Monday 13th January
Location: South Gloucestershire (Easy commute from Longwell Green, Hanham, Kingswood, Downend & Fishponds)
Skill set: Candidates with a youth background/coaching or care background would be ideal to apply
