Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Support the educational and social development of students under the guidance of the SENCO.
- Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Ideally a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN and SEMH needs.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in safeguarding and child protection.
- First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
- Work hours: Full-Time, temporary position.
- Work primarily within the school setting.
- May involve some physical activities and standing for extended periods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
