Job Duties:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with high educational needs
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans
- Support students with their academic and personal development
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
Required Qualifications:
Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs
Good understanding of SEN practises and strategies
Education:
Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential to work with students of varying ages and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
